New technology enhances sustainability in production

A recent step has been taken toward more sustainable production with an installation of a spike removal machine in the electrolysis process.

During production, anodes can sometimes become deformed and form so-called spikes, which previously meant that material had to be discarded. With the new technology, these scraped-off deformations can be returned to the process. This measure brings benefits on multiple levels, particularly for the environment and operational efficiency.

This improvement is part of an ongoing effort to optimize production and reduce climate impact through smarter resource utilization.
